...site is based on
XHTML 1.0 (valid as both Transitional & Strict) + valid
CSS 2.0 to give it a style. I also care about meeting up with the
WAI standards. WAI means accessibility for EVERYONE, even those with more rare browsing devices.
Why use valid XHTML, CSS & focus on WAI? Well, the main rationale is that You can reach out to more visitors. The site becomes faster, easier to maintain, easier to find with search engines, cheaper to run & more future-proof.

I've done the site basically using Notepad, Photoshop, Premiere & Flash. More various kinds of software was used when creating stuff You find in the P-FOLIO or FILES pages.

There's no counter, e-mail form or news & g-book function any more. I don't want to spend time on showing off with my DB & server/client scripting skills. At least not for myself - it's more fun offering time to someone else.
- I still use FSO in P-FOLIO & FILES though- Final counter stats reached 252 818 visitsI also got rid of a feature that dynamically created stylish headlines. I actually had two versions of this feature. They're "out" `cause I wanted a faster site.
The first was a solution based on PHP that worked on the server (too much workload for the server). The second one was a client based Flash solution, but I still wanted things to be easier/faster.

Let's say You found a feature that did not work on the site. The solution could be as simple as downloading free software. Here's a suggestion on software techniques that You might need.

Due to a questionable Swedish law (click PTS) a site needs to inform visitors about how/if cookies are used. This site does NOT use cookies to store personal info (I can't find out if You have dark hair). This site uses cookies to count visits.
Cookies (small textfiles) come in 2 ways. The 1st can be stored permanently until You remove it. The 2nd (session cookie) stays temporary until the browser is closed. To remove or change how You handle cookies - use the browser tools.

Info, further info & even more info - this section gives You data from other sites. The data is not under my responsibility & these sites will obviously open in a new window.
